JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Multiple Roles Available – Full-Time.

  • The role requires someone physically fit, able to lift and stand for extended periods. Must be capable of lifting dough crates weighing 20–25 kg.

  • Availability for morning shifts 

About the role
Brasserie Bread Bakery is looking for a skilled and passionate full-time Baker (bread production) to join our busy production team in Banksmedow NSW. In this hands-on role, you'll be preparing high-quality bread and artisanal baked goods that our customers love.

What you'll be doing

  • Mixing, preparing, and shaping dough

  • Using commercial ovens, mixers, and baking equipment

  • Monitoring proofing, baking, and cooling processes

  • Packaging and labelling finished products

  • Keeping your work area clean and following food safety standards

  • Working with the team to meet daily production targets


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Baker

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

What we're looking for

  • 1 to 2 years of commercial baking experience (preferably in a busy bakery)

  • Experience with commercial mixers, deck ovens, and proofing equipment an advantage

  • Strong technical baking skills and attention to detail

  • A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about baking and eager to grow with us

  • Eligible to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

  • Trade certificate or diploma in baking preferred (but not essential with relevant experience)
